CREATE STAINED GLASS GARDEN ART
Two day workshop 10.30am-4pm each day
Garden Panel size is approx. 40cm long by 12cm wide with stainless steel rod legs to allow you to plant your finished panel in your garden or flower beds.
You will be able to choose from a range of patterns available that are suitable for absolute beginners, or create your own simple pattern on the day with guidance.
You will learn to cut glass, stretch, cut and shape the lead. Solder the project together using a soldering iron, then apply cement before it is cleaned and polished. Workshop requires standing/sitting for long periods of time, and requires hand strength to stretch and shape the lead.
Please note this workshop uses sharp glass, chemicals such as flux and patina as well as lead. It is NOT suitable for children under 16 years of age.
Light refreshments provided and break included.
All glass, tools, equipment and protective gear are provided.
Please wear close-toed shoes, sensible clothing (long sleeves preferred), tie up long hair, bring reading glasses if worn.
Maximum group size is 4 people.
No previous glass experience is necessary.
